The TPP-1021 replacement board addresses this issue through a few design changes. We believe the long term reliability of our replacement boards is best served by using top name component manufacturers through reliable suppliers.\u00a0 We trust our customers will support our efforts to provide the highest quality parts.<\/p>\n Tangles’ Pin Parts (TPP) are manufactured in Australia. Each board undergoes stringent quality control and a full system test. For most TPP parts, quality and test processes are performed on a test rig designed to measure and evaluate the boards operational performance under conditions equal to or exceeding that experienced in the pinball machine.<\/p>\n The original 10 Opto board part comes in two sizes.\u00a0 The\u00a0 A-18159 (A-20246)\u00a0 has metal brackets riveted to the board so the board can be mounted vertically.\u00a0 The A-15430 board is mounted with 4 plastic spacers and sits flat against the underside of the playfield.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Replaces original part A-15430<\/p>\n Replaces original part A-18159<\/p>\n Show below is the TPP-1021 being prepared for installation into a BSD machine.\u00a0 Push the 4 supplied nylon mounting posts into the board mounting holes.<\/p>\n The TPP-1021 installs under the playfield using the same screws and mounting holes as the original board.<\/p>\n Return all 6 connectors to their appropriate places using the missing locator pins to help identify which plug goes where.\u00a0 \u00a0( Your wiring harness connectors will\u00a0 have blind plug stoppers so you cannot install the plugs the wrong way)<\/p>\n When installation is complete, perform a switch test and verify the appropriate opto-switches are working.<\/p>\n Original part\u00a0\u00a0A-18159 has two metal brackets to mount the PCB board in a vertical orientation from the under playfield.\u00a0 The replacement board TPP-1021W is designed with the appropriate mounting hole so it can attach to your existing metal brackets.<\/p>\n The metal brackets will need to be removed from the old A-18159 board. This is best done with a 3.5mm drill to remove the old rivets.<\/p>\n When the brackets have been removed from the old board, they may be attached to the TPP-1021W using the supplied screws.<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n\n
